Natural History Museum at night

One of the grandest buildings in London, home to one of the greatest collections of fossils and animals in the world. Its oned of the finest settings for the large animals you can see.

Recently upgraded with the Darwin Centenary just the place to visit to expand your knowledge and appreciate the world of scholarship.

Take you time and take your camera, its really really a great building. It was a grim site in the 1960's uncared for an unloved by many a clean up job has work wonders, now you can see the statues on the upper part and the choice of brickwork.

This example of Victorian Buildings is just wonderful

This photography is three merged together courtesy of Adobe Photoshop CS 3, I could not get back far enough to include the roof and the floor.

In any event is best seen in all its glory onsite.

Albert Memorial

Opposite the Albert Hall this is a fine example of restoration to this memorial to Queen Victoria's husband and the one responsible for the Great Exhibition of which the Natural History Museum is a part.
