Askander Hanassi Savari worked in the Iranian society for more than twenty years specialising in law, writing articles about  Afghanistan and Iran human rights abuses, India and Sri Lanka and headed up their Urdu and Pashto services in the early eighties.

Treasurer: Zohra Saiq

Zohra Saiq joined Afghanistan and Asian Community Organisation's Committee in 2003 and is currently the Treasurer. She has over 7 years of accounting experience including work with both nationally and internationally focused NGOs as well as a period in a mixed practice and a brief spell working in the commercial sector.

Umaira Afzali has a long association with the region going back to 1999 whilst working with another local community in Lambeth.She started with the Afghanistan and Asian Community Organisation in 2002.
